Reading Your Dashboard

Understand the Overview, Blog, and Social tabs, the usage widget, the onboarding card, and where social analytics live.

Updated Jul 9, 2026

The dashboard is your home screen at /tools/dashboard. It is an informational view: it shows how your content is performing and how much of your plan you have used. There are no create or compose buttons here, and the only actions are filtering and exporting.

The Three Tabs

The dashboard Overview tab with Overview, Blog, and Social tabs, a time-range dropdown, four stat tiles (Total posts, Published, Scheduled, Draft), a recent-activity feed of posts with status badges, and a usage-this-month widget.
The dashboard Overview: combined counts, a recent-activity feed, and a monthly usage widget.

A tab bar at the top switches between views. A time-range dropdown (last 7 days, last 30 days, this month, or all time) applies across them.

  • Overview is the default. It shows four combined counts (total posts, published, scheduled, and draft) and a recent-activity feed built from your latest posts. Feed items link straight into the editor.
  • Blog focuses on your blog content.
  • Social appears only on plans with social features connected.

Blog Tab

The Blog tab shows your post counts for the selected period:

  • Total posts, as a large running figure
  • Status badges for Draft, Ready (shown when any exist), Scheduled, and Published
  • A new this period line when you have created posts in the window

If your organisation has more than one blog, a blog filter dropdown lets you narrow the figures to a single blog. Below the counts, a WordPress analytics widget lists your top posts by views when a WordPress site is connected.

Social Tab

This is where your social analytics live. Reaching /tools/social/analytics simply forwards you here to /tools/dashboard?tab=social.

Pick a connected channel from the sidebar to see per-channel charts. Depending on what the platform reports, metrics include impressions, views, likes, comments, followers, and shares, each shown as a trend line with a total and a percentage change. A Download CSV option exports the metrics for the channels you select. If you have no channels connected yet, the tab prompts you to connect one in settings.

The Usage Widget

For subscribers, a usage widget at the bottom of the dashboard shows this month's consumption against your plan limits, with progress bars that turn amber past 70 percent and red past 90 percent. It tracks:

  • Blog posts created this month
  • Blogs in use
  • AI images generated
  • Social posts created

Unlimited allowances are labelled as such rather than showing a bar. The widget is hidden when you do not have an active subscription.

Onboarding and Trial

Until you finish setup, an onboarding card sits at the top of the dashboard. It shows your progress through the five setup steps (welcome and website, keywords, voice profile, first post, and finish) with a Continue setup button that reopens the wizard.

If your trial has ended without a subscription, a banner links you to the plans page. Right after you start a trial, the dashboard may briefly show a setup state while your subscription is confirmed in the background.
