Status is no longer something you set by hand. Buttons do the work, and a new Ready state marks a post as approved and waiting.
Changing a post used to mean picking a status from a dropdown, which made it possible to say a post was published when it never left the building.
What changed
- The status is now something you read, not something you have to manage
- Buttons do the work: Publish now, Schedule, Unpublish and Back to draft
- A new Ready status marks a post that is approved and waiting for its moment
- Ready posts appear in your dashboard counts, in the filters, on the calendar and in the weekly digest
The status you see now always reflects what actually happened.
