What happens while your article is written
- Nolorem reads the full text of the sources it found, not just a snippet from a search result
- Every specific claim, a number, a date, a named organisation, a quote, is checked against those sources
- Claims that hold up are recorded together with the passage they came from
- Claims that do not are repaired, or handed to you
You are told, and you decide
The source check panel in the editor shows what was verified and against what. You can jump straight to the sentence in question, open the source it was checked against without leaving Nolorem, apply a suggested repair, and take that repair back if you preferred your own words. When too much of an article cannot be supported, the post is held: a scheduled post will not go out unnoticed, and publishing by hand asks you to confirm that you have looked.
And when it cannot be done
If a source could not be read or the check could not run, we say so on the post instead of quietly leaving it out. Nolorem can now also read pages that build themselves in your browser, and fall back to a freely available version of a research paper when the publisher blocks us.
